What Is The Security Operations Learning Path?
The Security Operations Learning Path is a structured route from beginner to working analyst. It bundles three certifications that build on each other as your skills grow, so you always know the next step and can prove your progress at every stage. It also includes supplemental course materials from TCM Academy that aren’t required to pass the certifications, but will help you build job ready skills. You start with the technical foundations, move into security-specific skills, and finish with hands-on experience across the full SOC analyst workflow, from day one on the help desk all the way to incident response.
The path includes three exam vouchers and full access to the training materials for two years, beginning on the day of purchase. We highly recommend working through the training before attempting each exam. If you don’t initially succeed, don’t worry. We never want to profit on failure and include one free retake with every exam voucher.

Take the First Step to SOC Analyst
The path runs in sequence, building toward each certification as you go. Following the path exactly is not required, but is recommended, especially if you are a true beginner. You get 108.5 hours of training across nine courses, plus all three exams.
More than the certs alone. The path includes additional courses from TCM Academy that don’t come with the certification vouchers on their own. It provides a full foundation and the extras that round out a working analyst, not just exam prep. Your three exam vouchers are valid for two years, starting on the day of purchase.
Does my training expire?
The path comes with two years of training access, starting from the purchase date.
Do I have to complete the certifications in order?
No! This is the recommended order for beginners to follow, but you are not required to follow the path if you want to jump around.
Will my employer reimburse this package?
Will I receive a digital certification?
Yes! You will receive a certificate of completion for each course you finish and a certification when you pass each exam. You can view an example of those here.
Do you offer any other discounts?
Our 20% discount for active and former military, first responders, teachers, and students cannot be applied to the bundle or stacked with other discounts.
