What is the Practical Junior OSINT Researcher Certification?
The Practical Junior OSINT Researcher (PJOR) certification is designed to validate individuals’ skills in gathering intelligence from publicly available sources. This certification is beginner-friendly, offering an opportunity for individuals to demonstrate their proficiency in utilizing open-source intelligence techniques effectively.
These challenges will assess the individual’s ability to identify relevant information, analyze data, and draw insights from multiple sources. Students will have three days (72 hours) to complete the exam and submit a professional report on their findings.
How to Pass the PJOR Exam
In order to receive the certification, students must:
Solve challenges that require the use of various OSINT methodologies to gather information from sources including social media platforms, public records, online databases, and other publicly accessible information repositories.
Provide a detailed, professionally written report.

Who can take the Practical Junior OSINT Researcher exam?
Any individual from any country is eligible to sit for the PJOR exam. Individuals under the age of 18 years old must submit a Parental Consent Form prior to purchasing the exam voucher.
This is an entry-level certification exam. While we do include the training material that contains all of the information required to pass our exam, we still advise students to have a basic fundamental knowledge of computers and computer networks.
How does the exam compare to other certifications?
Students will need to utilize OSINT methodologies to answer challenges similar to what they may need to answer in junior security roles. The exam is not artificially hard, but will challenge the student to research and document at a technically professional level.
What is the relation of the OSINT Fundamentals course to the exam?
The exam was designed based on the Open-Source Intelligence Fundamentals materials. Similarly to the PJPT and PEH course, the training of the Open-Source Intelligence Fundamentals course will be all you need to pass the exam.

You may use any tools you would like on the exam, just ensure that you are reading the questions carefully to answer the complete challenge.
How do students pass the exam?
Once students achieve 80 points (out of 100) they will pass the exam. The exam consists of a variety of challenges ranging in difficulty and points.
Is the exam proctored?
No. We do monitor network traffic in the exam environment and have detection mechanisms in place for cheating in the environment and the exam, but there will be no proctor or intrusive software to install on your machine.
How long is the exam?
You will have 72 hours to complete the exam and submit a written report containing your findings to the team.
